My Photojournalist Projects

Veteran Stories from the battlefield
This is my first project which is ongoing. I want to hear from UK Military Veterans who have served in a conflict, it doesn’t matter where or for what reasons they was deployed. I want to hear stories that haven’t been told before, first hand experience of being sent to a conflict zone. What emotions did you feel? How did serving in a conflict zone impact your day to day lives? What did you find difficult as a soldier? How old was you when you was deployed? Did you join the Armed Forces at a young age? You get the idea. I want to share your story with the world, from start to finish. Some stories will be longer than others and possibly more graphic, this isn’t a tell me how bad the government was or how bad the military is at protecting their own. I want to hear true stories from those who walked the walk, true events of how it unfolded for you as a member of our Armed Forces. Whether you served in the Royal Air Force, Royal Navy or if you was serving in the Territorial Army, your story matters and I would like to hear from you.

Mental Health Lost The War
As the title says, Mental Health lost the war. I want to share stories from those who have been living with a mental health illness and may still do. We all hear about how difficult and traumatic a mental health illness can be and I am by no means saying otherwise. However, in my experience we don’t hear enough stories of how incredibly brave and strong individuals have to become in order to turn their lives around by not giving up and working tirelessly to combat an illness. I think these stories need to be heard so that others can gain hope and inspiration from them. Having a mental health illness is challenging enough, so these stories I want to share with the world so that we can encourage and motivate other individuals to keep trying, continue working on themselves and to never, ever give up!

Our Silent Heroes
Our Silent Heroes within our communities, be it at work or in business. These people provide a service to the public without any gratification for years. Their unselfish service to the public needs to be shared. If you have served your community in a way that so many have benefited from your dedication, loyalty and commitment then I would love to hear your story. It doesn’t matter if you are a patrol crossing attendant, bus driver, truck driver, taxi driver, director of a business, carer for a family member, I would love the opportunity to tell your story.
